Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 2+ years of experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab for a 13-week travel contract.

Details

Cardiac Cath Lab setting within an acute care hospital
Diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
IR experience preferred
4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Weekends and holidays required as needed
Call is required: 12 days per 8-week schedule, with after-hours weekday call from 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM and 24-hour weekend call (Friday–Monday); candidates are assigned 2–3 weekend call shifts per 8-week period
Epic EMR experience is mandatory

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiac cath lab required
Diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab experience required
Current BLS and ACLS required
RCIS certification required
Epic EMR proficiency required
Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
A copy of a valid driver's license is required for consideration
2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
License required if applicable

Additional Information

First-time travelers are welcome to apply
All candidates must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance; two attempts are allowed, and candidates should prepare in advance as study materials are not provided by the facility
The facility has a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
Scrubs are provided
