Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience for a night shift contract position in an acute care hospital CT Imaging department.
Details
- CT Imaging department in an acute care hospital setting, serving both inpatient and outpatient populations
- 24-hour department equipped with 3 Siemens scanners: Edge Plus, Definition AS, and Force
- High-volume unit averaging 130 exams per day on weekdays and 80 exams per day on weekends
- Procedures include coronary angiography, various biopsy procedures, abscess drains, pre-Watchman protocols, and ablation protocols
- Systems used include Bayer Medrad Contrast Injector and Cerner EMR
- Schedule is Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour night shifts)
- 3 shifts per week, 36 hours per week
- No on-call required
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in CT imaging
- Current ARRT certification and BLS (AHA) required
- Valid state license required if applicable
- Driver's license required for consideration
- Cerner EMR experience preferred
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have at least a 2-year break before being considered
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront and cannot be requested after an offer is made
- AHA certifications must be current and unexpired at time of consideration
