Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neonatal ICU (NICU) position in Georgia, caring for high-acuity neonatal patients on 12-hour night shifts.

Details

  • 12-hour night shifts (7p–7a) in a hospital Neonatal ICU setting
  • High-acuity neonatal patient population, including infants from 22 weeks gestation and above
  • Advanced therapies performed include total body cooling, conventional ventilation up to High Frequency Oscillator Ventilation (HFOV), inhaled nitric oxide, vasopressor/sedation continuous IV drips, central line maintenance, and neonatal resuscitation
  • 3 shifts per week on a 12-week contract
  • No on-call requirements

Requirements

  • Active Georgia (GA) or Compact RN license required
  • Current AHA certifications required (must not be expired)
  • Prior NICU experience required, with ability to manage very high-acuity neonatal patients
  • Driver's License required for consideration
  • EMR experience required (must be listed in work history)

Additional Information

  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
  • Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break in employment before being considered
  • Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront — requests cannot be made after an offer is accepted
  • References are not required for initial consideration but will be needed during the compliance process
