Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring at least 1 year of MS/Tele experience, with night shifts and an every-other-weekend schedule.
Details
- Inpatient Med/Surg Telemetry unit with an Orthopedic/Spine focus
- Patient ratio of 1:7
- Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (18:30–07:00)
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call responsibilities
- Floating is required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active TN or Compact RN license required
- AHA BLS certification required (AHA only)
- Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg Telemetry or Med/Surg experience required
- Two supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Candidate must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Orientation begins on Sundays with online computer-based learning (CBLs)
- Travel nurses are expected to support nursing student clinical education alongside their standard patient care responsibilities
- Local candidates are not accepted; candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
