Description
American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week contract at a specialty orthopedic hospital in Rapid City, SD.
Details
- Outpatient physical therapy setting within a specialty orthopedic and rehabilitation hospital
- Patient population includes orthopedic, spine, neurological, and sports medicine cases
- Specialized equipment includes dry needling, blood flow restriction, AlterG, aquatic therapy pool, focused shockwave therapy, and cupping
- Charting is performed in Epic
- Schedule is 10-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week
- No floating to other units
- No weekend rotation and no on-call requirements
- No holiday coverage expected
Requirements
- Current SD PT license required if applicable
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
- Outpatient or relevant specialty setting experience preferred
- 2 professional references dated within the past year required for consideration
- DOB and SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Supervised by Rehab Supervisors on-site
- Orientation is 5–7 days
- First-time travelers may be considered depending on prior experience and setting
- Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Scrub color required: pewter, dark grey, or granite
- Free parking is available on-site
- RTO requests exceeding 7 days require supervisor approval
