Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week inpatient rehab assignment focused on neurological conditions.
Details
- 30-bed acute inpatient rehabilitation unit
- Patient population primarily includes neurological conditions such as stroke, brain injury, multi-trauma, and post-spine surgery
- Typical caseload of 4-6 patients per day with an expectation of billing 24 units per day
- Uses Cerner/OneChart electronic medical record system
- Schedule Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, with rotating weekends
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required
- Current BLS certification required (AHA)
- PT license required if applicable
- Experience with neurological diagnoses preferred
- Comfortable performing evaluations and treatments for complex neurological cases
Additional Information
- Main responsibilities include performing evaluations and treatments for patients with neurological conditions in an inpatient rehab setting
- Black scrubs or business casual attire accepted
