Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel contract, requiring a minimum of 1 year of radiology experience and ARRT certification.

Details

• Works in a hospital-based CT Scan unit
• Patient population ranges from newborn to geriatric
• Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Epic used for charting

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of radiology experience required
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
• ARRT registered RT(R) or RT(N) required; ARRT CT registry preferred — if CT certification is not held at time of hire, it must be obtained within one year
• Active MA license required; MA Conditional Licenses are not accepted — license required if applicable
• BLS certification required (AHA only; Red Cross not accepted at this location)
• Ability to insert and remove IVs
• 2 professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Performs a variety of CT procedures under the direction of a qualified physician, technical specialist, and CT Operations Manager using prescribed levels of ionizing radiation
• Operates imaging equipment to produce quality diagnostic images of specified body parts
• All procedures are performed in accordance with federal, state, local, and hospital policies
• Flu vaccine is required; no religious or medical exemptions are accepted
• Candidates with a permanent residence within 60 miles of the facility are considered local and may be subject to a adjusted pay rate
• RTO requests must be submitted at the time of consideration
• Time and attendance tracked via UKG/Kronos
