Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in Sierra Vista, AZ, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ER experience and active AZ or compact RN license.

Details

• Work setting is a 177,000 sq ft acute care hospital Emergency Department in Sierra Vista, AZ
• 22-bed ED treating a diverse patient population including traumas, STEMIs, strokes, psych, cardiac, GI, and pediatric cases
• Patient ratios: 4:1 for pod patients, 2:1 for critical patients, and 6:1 for fast track
• Cerner EHR in use
• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period
• No on-call or float requirements
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active AZ or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of emergency department experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, and TNCC — all must be AHA-issued
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• Trauma and pediatric experience preferred

Additional Information

• Candidate must reside 60 or more miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are currently employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
• Scrubs in any color or print are acceptable; non-scrubs, t-shirts, open-toe shoes, hoodies, and leggings are not permitted
