Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week weekend travel assignment in Nashville, TN, requiring ARRT(R)(CT) certification and hands-on experience with GE and Siemens scanners.
Details
- CT Scan department located in the Tower building of an ACR-accredited hospital
- Procedures include general CT, Stroke CT, Vascular CT, and Gated studies across pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient populations
- Equipment includes GE 64-slice and Siemens Dual Source Definition scanners
- Documentation systems include Meditech and Fuji Synapse PACS
- Friday through Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (12-hour weekend shifts)
- No floating required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience, with active experience within the last 6 months
- ARRT(R)(CT) required
- Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
- Proficiency with GE and Siemens CT scanners
- IV insertion skills required
- Ability to function independently
- License required if applicable
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- One professional reference required (two required for candidates licensed in Florida or Missouri)
Additional Information
- Perform general, stroke, vascular, and gated CT studies on pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
- Solid color scrubs required
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
