Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a minimum of 2 years of high-volume ER experience and certifications including TNCC, with night shifts and Epic EMR proficiency.
Details
- Emergency Department (ER) unit in a hospital setting
- High-volume environment seeing at least 100 patients per day
- Patient ratio of 4:1
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
- Weekends required
- Floating required between all facilities within the state
- No on-call responsibilities
- Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
- Active WA state or compact RN license required at time of consideration
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC
- Minimum 2 years of ER RN experience in a high-volume setting (100+ patients/day)
- Experience with 4:1 patient ratios required
- Epic EMR proficiency required
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates with a permanent residence within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this travel contract
- Former permanent employees of this health system must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Refusal to float between facilities within the state may result in termination of the assignment
- Minimal RTO is strongly preferred; all RTO requests must be disclosed upfront at the time of consideration
