Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ER RN for a 13-week travel contract in Centralia, WA, requiring at least 2 years of high-volume emergency department experience and active TNCC certification.

Details

• Emergency Department (ER) setting in a hospital environment
• High-volume department seeing at least 100 patients per day
• Standard patient ratio of 4:1
• Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Weekends required
• Floating between all facilities within the state is required and mandatory
• No on-call responsibilities
• Epic EMR required

Requirements

• Active WA state RN license or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of ER experience in a high-volume setting (100+ patients/day) with 4:1 ratios
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC
• Epic EMR experience required
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable ER/ED setting required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for a travel contract

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Former permanent staff of this Providence health system must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler
• Former permanent staff must also reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• All RTO requests must be disclosed upfront; minimal RTO is strongly preferred
• Refusal to float between facilities may result in termination of the assignment
