Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with adult critical care and ED experience for a night shift position at an acute care hospital.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting in Jefferson City, MO
• Respiratory therapy unit with adult critical care and emergency department coverage
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Weekends are varied, typically every 3rd or 4th weekend
• Up to 4 on-call shifts per 6-week schedule
• Holiday and weekend rotation required
• May rotate into a charge position as needed
• Epic EMR required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• RRT or CRT certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience accepted
• Adult critical care and emergency department experience required
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Candidates must reside more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Caribbean blue scrubs required
• Travelers must be clean-shaven to ensure proper mask seal during fit testing — CAPRs and PAPRs are neither provided nor permitted for traveler use, and failure to comply with fit testing requirements may result in cancellation of the assignment
• Charge rotation may be required on an as-needed basis
