Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Long-Term Care (LTC) position in Charlevoix, MI, requiring 2+ years of LTC experience and an active Michigan RN license.
Details
- Skilled nursing/long-term care (LTC) facility setting
- Day shift: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM, three 12-hour shifts per week
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call responsibilities
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active Michigan (MI) RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of RN LTC experience required
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
- MI LTC Fingerprinting is a plus if already obtained
Additional Information
- Works under the direction of the department manager/director, charge nurse, or team leader to provide care in accordance with established hospital methods and procedures
- Demonstrates understanding of patient- and family-centered care principles
- Facility enforces a strict 3-strike attendance policy — three instances of absence or tardiness exceeding 20 minutes will result in immediate termination; exceptions may be made for communicable illness or hospitalization with supporting documentation
- RTO requests are limited to no more than 5 days for the duration of the contract
