Description

American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with outpatient and hand therapy experience for a 13-week travel contract at a Critical Access Hospital in Mammoth Lakes, CA.

• Primary work setting is an outpatient orthopedic hand therapy clinic in Bishop, CA, with some inpatient responsibilities
• Patient care is structured as 1:1 appointments, with one 45-minute session per hour
• Position involves collaboration across all hospital departments and medical staff
• Day shift schedule

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of PT experience
• Active California PT license required
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Experience in hand therapy required
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) certification preferred
• DOB and SSN may be required for consideration

• Responsibilities include patient evaluation, development and revision of treatment plans every 12 visits or sooner, administration of PT techniques and modalities, and timely documentation for physician follow-up and insurance compliance
