Description
American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 2 years of experience for a 13-week travel contract at an acute care Magnet-designated hospital in Orange, CA.
Details
- Acute care Magnet-designated hospital with 426 staffed beds
- Nuclear Medicine department, including PET scan imaging
- 5x8 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- No weekend or holiday shifts required
- Optional call shifts available for interested candidates: M–F 4:30 AM–10:00 PM and Sat–Sun 6:00 AM–10:00 PM with a 60-minute response time
- Travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state
- Charting performed in Epic (experience required)
- Free parking on-site
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience required
- Current BLS required
- NMTCB or ARRT certification required
- Active CA state license required at time of consideration (license required if applicable)
- Epic EMR experience required
- First-time travelers will not be considered
- A minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting are required for consideration
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- PET scan experience is preferred; on-site training is available for qualified candidates
- Orientation shifts are 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, likely for the first two weeks
- Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be accommodated
- RTO requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration; minimal RTO is preferred
- Former permanent staff of this facility must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler
- Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility should inquire about local pay rates
- Candidates must not live within 50 miles of the facility if they were previously employed there as permanent staff
