Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a travel Emergency Department position in Indiana, requiring a minimum of 3 years of ED experience and active ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications.

Details

• Work in a 32-bed Emergency Department at an inpatient hospital setting
• Patient population includes medical, injured, and mental health patients across the lifespan
• Standard patient ratio is 1:4, with higher ratios for low-acuity patients
• Uses Level I fluid warmer equipment
• Epic EMR
• Mid-shift schedule: 11:00 AM – 11:30 PM (3x12s, evenings)
• Every other weekend requirement
• No on-call or float requirements
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active IN or compact RN license required
• Minimum 3 years of recent Emergency Department experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS; TNCC preferred
• Experience caring for patients across the lifespan required
• Trauma care experience preferred
• US Social Security Number required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• EKG testing is required as part of the hiring process; candidates are allowed 2 attempts — if unsuccessful, reapplication to Franciscan positions is permitted after 30 days
• Pre-employment education modules will be assigned and must be completed prior to the first day
• Navy scrubs required; facility dress code must be followed
