Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position at an acute care hospital, requiring Epic EMR experience and NRP certification on night shifts.

• Labor & Delivery unit in a 200-bed acute care hospital
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
• Weekend shifts required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Floating between all facilities within the state is required and refusal to float may result in termination of assignment
• Block scheduling available at manager's discretion
• Free parking available on site

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required; pending licenses are not accepted
• Current certifications required: BLS and NRP
• Minimum 1 year of L&D experience required
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility if previously employed there as permanent staff

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates are accepted
• Scrubs provided for L&D; RNs on other units wear solid royal blue
• Former permanent employees of the facility must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission; minimal RTO is strongly preferred
• Candidates must disclose any prior work history at a Providence facility, including location and dates
