Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a 13-week night shift travel contract at a Level 3 trauma acute care hospital in Minnesota, requiring TNCC and a minimum of 2 years of ED experience.

Details

• Emergency Department (ED) of an acute care hospital with 63 staffed beds
• Level 3 trauma facility
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
• May be placed on call as needed by the department
• Up to every other weekend required
• No floating within the facility
• Charting in Epic (Excellian); experience required
• Free parking available in any unrestricted space

Requirements

• Active MN RN license required (pending license accepted)
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
• Minimum 2 years of ED/ER nursing experience required
• Epic (Excellian) EMR experience required
• At least 1 supervisor reference required for consideration
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates who previously worked at the facility as permanent staff or per diem must have been gone for at least 3 months from their last shift to be eligible
• Pre-start online modules are required to be completed before the assignment begins
• Navy blue scrubs required
• RTO requests of no more than 5 days are preferred; the scheduler will work with candidates as best they can on scheduling needs
• Block scheduling is not available, but the scheduler will work with candidates as best they can
• Candidates may float to affiliate hospitals nearby
