Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Case Manager for an Emergency Department setting requiring ED experience, Cerner proficiency, and a Massachusetts RN license.

Details

• Position is based in an Emergency Department (ED) case management role
• Day shift schedule: 5x8 hours (10:00–18:00)
• Every other weekend coverage required, with floating
• Documentation system: Cerner
• 8-week contract

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of RN case management experience required
• Emergency Department setting experience required
• Experience with admission criteria, care coordination, and discharge planning
• Familiarity with CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services) regulations
• Cerner EMR experience

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include admission criteria review, care coordination, discharge planning, and utilization review
• Orientation consists of 40 hours (approximately 1 week) focused on system processes and the ED environment
• All time off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
