Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and night shift availability.
Details
- MS/Tele unit in a hospital setting with 24 beds
- Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
- Patient ratio of 1:4
- Charting performed in Epic
- Floating required within scope to meet facility needs, including to other facilities within a 75-mile radius
- Block scheduling is not available for this position
Requirements
- Active RN license (Standard or Compact) required — pending licenses will not be accepted
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and Basic Dysrhythmia
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Valid driver's license and a utility bill in the traveler's name with a matching address dated within the last 3 months are required for consideration
- Two supervisory references required for consideration
- Copies of all certifications required for consideration
- Candidate's permanent address must be more than 75 miles from the facility — local candidates will not be considered
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer per 13-week assignment — no holiday or blackout date requests will be accepted
- Former permanent staff must have been separated from this health system for at least 1 year to be eligible for a travel assignment
- A 12-week contract length applies to this position
