Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a day shift travel assignment in a Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit at a major medical center in New Orleans.

Details

  • Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM)
  • Every other weekend coverage required
  • 13-week contract
  • Epic EMR experience preferred

Requirements

  • Current RRT credential required
  • Active state RT license required if applicable
  • Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Experienced RTs only — new graduates will not be considered
  • First-time travelers will be considered

Additional Information

  • Candidates must reside 65+ miles from the facility to be eligible — local travelers are not accepted
  • In the event of a declared emergency, travelers may be assigned to an Emergency Team and expected to remain at the facility until the event has passed or serve as part of a relief team
  • By accepting a position, candidates acknowledge and agree to emergency team assignment expectations as directed by their unit manager
  • All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed and discussed during the interview process
