Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a day shift travel assignment in a Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit at a major medical center in New Orleans.
Details
- Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM)
- Every other weekend coverage required
- 13-week contract
- Epic EMR experience preferred
Requirements
- Current RRT credential required
- Active state RT license required if applicable
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Experienced RTs only — new graduates will not be considered
- First-time travelers will be considered
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside 65+ miles from the facility to be eligible — local travelers are not accepted
- In the event of a declared emergency, travelers may be assigned to an Emergency Team and expected to remain at the facility until the event has passed or serve as part of a relief team
- By accepting a position, candidates acknowledge and agree to emergency team assignment expectations as directed by their unit manager
- All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed and discussed during the interview process
