Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position at a tertiary care hospital in Rochester, NY, requiring an active NY RN license in hand and Epic experience.

Details

• Work in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit of a 528-bed tertiary care hospital
• Night shift schedule: 3x12 hours (19:00–07:00)
• Every other weekend requirement
• Patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:7
• Epic EMR experience required
• Floating is required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NY RN license currently in hand — no exceptions
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
• Epic EMR experience required
• Ability to manage a 1:5 to 1:7 patient ratio
• Candidate must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
