Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of CT experience for a 13-week travel contract at a Level IV Trauma, advanced stroke, and teaching hospital in Milwaukee, WI.
Details
- CT department with 2 scanner beds in a 228-bed Level IV Trauma Center, Level III NICU, and Advanced Comprehensive Stroke Center
- Patient population includes angiography, general, and procedural patients (drains/biopsies)
- 1:1 patient ratio
- Equipment includes Canon 80-slice and GE 40-slice CT scanners
- Charting and systems include Epic EMR, McKesson PACS, Alaris, and Pyxis
- 4x10-hour evening shifts, Tuesday through Friday, 12:00 PM – 10:30 PM
- Weekend rotation required; weekend schedule may vary based on facility need
- On-call requirement with a variable schedule
- Holiday coverage required when a regularly scheduled day falls on a holiday
- Free parking available in designated employee areas
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of CT experience with most recent experience within the last year
- BLS, ARRT certification required
- Active Wisconsin CT/Radiology license required if applicable
- Experience with angiography, general, and procedural CT patient types required
- Proficiency with Canon and GE CT scanners preferred
- At least 1 professional reference from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN collected within the last year
- Candidate's full middle name or initial, DOB, and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Teaching hospital affiliated with Advocate Health system located in Milwaukee, WI
- COVID-19 vaccination required
- First-time travelers will be considered on a case-by-case basis
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate — no radius restrictions apply
- Former employees of Advocate Health or any of its subsidiaries must have been separated for at least 12 months before being eligible
- Procedural scrubs required
