Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of CT experience for a 13-week night shift contract at an acute care hospital in Colorado.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting within the Radiology - CT department
- Department has 2 CT scanners
- Routine CT imaging performed including head, chest, abdomen/pelvis, CTA head, CTA chest, calcium scoring, and more
- Average of 30–40 scans per day
- In-house radiologist available on-site
- IV placement required
- GE CT equipment used
- Synapse PACS and Epic Radiant EMR
- 10-hour night shifts: Wednesday 12:00 AM–6:00 AM and Thursday–Saturday 5:00 PM–6:00 AM
- Weekend and holiday coverage required
- No call or standby requirement
- No floating to other areas
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of CT experience required
- Active ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications required — pending certifications not accepted
- Active BLS (AHA) certification required
- Active state or compact (NLC) license required if applicable — pending licenses not accepted
- Proficiency with IV placement required
- Experience with GE CT equipment preferred
- Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility
- Driver's license required for consideration
- 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
Additional Information
- Perform routine CT imaging across a broad range of study types including CTA and calcium scoring
- On-site department-specific orientation provided
- Clinicians must be in-state during the week of orientation, even if initial modules are completed remotely
- Black scrubs required; scrubs are not provided by the facility
- Travelers are responsible for providing their own radiation dosimetry badge — the facility does not supply one
- Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit/CHI/Dignity facility within the past year are not eligible; candidates employed PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered
- Travelers are expected to float within the assigned zone per the facility's Float Radius Policy and must secure housing that supports this requirement
