Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Sanford, NC, requiring Women's Services experience and multiple OB-specific certifications for a 13-week night shift contract.

Details

• Labor & Delivery unit within a combined OB/GYN department at a 137-bed acute care hospital
• Unit consists of 17 L&D rooms and 5 OB rooms within a single combined unit
• Patient population is Labor & Delivery (Women's Services)
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• On-call required on an as-needed/on-request basis
• Floating required on an as-needed basis
• EMR: Cerner

Requirements

• Active RN license in North Carolina or a compact license recognized in NC
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, AWHONN, and CPI/HWC/MAB
• Minimum 1–2 years of L&D or Women's Services experience required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• All required certifications must be obtained and current prior to the assignment start date; AHA-issued certifications are required
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates may not be employed full-time elsewhere during this assignment
• Scrubs of any color are acceptable; casual wear is not permitted
• Orientation takes place weekly on Mondays
