Description

American Traveler is hiring an IR Tech specializing in Neuro Interventional Radiology, with Cath Lab experience and NIHSS certification required for a 16-week contract.

Details

  • Neuro Interventional Radiology unit focused on endovascular patients
  • Procedures include angiograms, stroke interventions, carotid stents, and aneurysm treatment
  • Day shifts of 8 hours, either 6:00 AM–2:30 PM or 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
  • 40 hours per week
  • Rotational call required on both weekdays and weekends
  • Holiday coverage assigned on a rotational basis
  • Charting performed in Epic
  • 16-week contract

Requirements

  • Active and clear Tech license (license required if applicable)
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • NIHSS certification required
  • Neuro ICU experience required
  • Cath Lab experience required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Tech preferred
  • Radiology and/or IR experience preferred
  • Epic EMR experience
  • 2 completed professional references from a manager or supervisor within the last year
  • Skills checklist completed within the last 12 months

  • Scrubs are provided by the facility
