Description
American Traveler is hiring an IR Tech specializing in Neuro Interventional Radiology, with Cath Lab experience and NIHSS certification required for a 16-week contract.
Details
- Neuro Interventional Radiology unit focused on endovascular patients
- Procedures include angiograms, stroke interventions, carotid stents, and aneurysm treatment
- Day shifts of 8 hours, either 6:00 AM–2:30 PM or 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
- 40 hours per week
- Rotational call required on both weekdays and weekends
- Holiday coverage assigned on a rotational basis
- Charting performed in Epic
- 16-week contract
Requirements
- Active and clear Tech license (license required if applicable)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- NIHSS certification required
- Neuro ICU experience required
- Cath Lab experience required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Tech preferred
- Radiology and/or IR experience preferred
- Epic EMR experience
- 2 completed professional references from a manager or supervisor within the last year
- Skills checklist completed within the last 12 months
