Description
American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer for a 13-week travel contract at a Level II Trauma, short-term acute care teaching hospital, with Epic EMR experience required.
Details
- Short-term acute care, Level II Trauma teaching hospital with 209 staffed beds
- Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer unit with a 1:1 patient ratio
- Day shifts, 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Weekends required on an as-needed basis
- On-call required on an as-needed basis
- Floating between all facilities within the state is expected; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
- Epic EMR — experience required
- No-fee parking available on site
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer experience required
- Epic EMR proficiency required
- Active professional license required if applicable
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty and setting
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
- All required certifications must be current and included for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Candidates must disclose any prior work history at a Providence facility, including location and dates, as part of their profile
- Scrubs are provided in sterile units such as OR, ICU, ER, and COVID units; all other staff may wear any color scrubs
- Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position
