Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN (Scrub/Circulator) for a 13-week travel contract requiring an active Maine or Compact RN license and at least 1 year of surgical or perioperative experience.

Details

• OR setting with responsibilities spanning scrub, circulator, and PACU coverage as needed
• Monday through Thursday day shift schedule, 40 hours per week
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license in Maine or a Compact state currently in hand
• Minimum 1 year of medical/surgical or perioperative nursing experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Basic computer skills
• CNOR certification preferred
• DOB and SSN may be required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsible for delivering safe, effective, and patient-family centered care throughout the perioperative period
• Must be able to effectively communicate with all members of the perioperative team
• ACLS certification required for PACU assignments; may be obtained within 6 months of hire if not already held
• High degree of confidentiality and professionalism expected in all aspects of patient care
