Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position at a 422-bed hospital in Brandon, FL, requiring MEDITECH experience and a minimum of 1 year of OR experience.

Details

• Work in the Surgical/OR unit (701) of a 422-bed acute care hospital in Brandon, FL
• Day shift schedule: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
• Variable call schedule included
• Every other weekend required, in rotation with hospital staff
• Holiday coverage required, in rotation with hospital staff

Requirements

• Active FL or Compact RN license required
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted); certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start
• Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience in the OR specialty required
• MEDITECH EMR experience required
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Two professional references required (Florida requirement)
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible

• Scrub color for surgical staff is Ciel Blue
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• 13-week contract
