Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in an acute care hospital radiology department, requiring ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting in a combined CT/X-Ray radiology unit
• Cerner EMR used in this position
• Preferred experience with Siemens and GE CT equipment
• 12-hour shifts with varied AM and overnight hours; AM shifts run 7:00 AM–7:30 PM or 8:30 AM–9:00 PM, and overnight shifts run 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
• Every other weekend (EOW) requirement with a night/weekend on-call rotation

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist
• Active ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications required — pending certifications not accepted
• Current BLS certification required
• Active CA Radiologic Technologist license required (license required if applicable)
• Active CA Fluoroscopy Permit required
• A copy of driver's license is required for consideration
• 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months worked, and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years worked, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire

Additional Information

• Candidates will be sent to the unit manager for an interview — no pre-screen
• Completion of facility onboarding modules (approximately 6 hours) is required before the start of the assignment
• Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity Health facility within the past year are not eligible; candidates placed PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered
