Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring at least 1.5 years of experience and prior travel experience, with a day shift Monday-Friday schedule.
Details
- Hospital Operating Room setting
- Day shift schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
- On-call responsibilities required
- Required specialty experience includes: Orthopedics, General Surgery, Neuro, Vascular, and Urology
- Experience with Da Vinci Robotics, Endovascular, and Ophthalmology procedures is a plus
- Charting is done in Epic (experience preferred)
Requirements
- Active TX or Compact RN license currently in hand
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1.5 years of OR nursing experience
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Proficiency across multiple OR specialties: Ortho, General, Neuro, Vascular, and Urology
- Candidates must reside outside of the following TX counties: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris
- Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible
- Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
- No travel pairs or groups accepted
- Up to 3 days of RTO may be approved; no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
- Travel pairs or group placements are not accepted for this position
