Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Step Down/Med-Surg Telemetry position requiring at least 2 years of PCU or Med-Surg Telemetry experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Night shift position, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Work in a Med-Surg/Step Down unit at a hospital setting
- Patient placement on either a PCU or Med-Surg Telemetry unit based on traveler skill set
- Epic EMR experience required
- Every other weekend (EOW) required
- Every other holiday (EOH) required
- Floating required within skill set, including to off-site locations within a 40-mile radius
Requirements
- Active WI RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (both must be AHA-issued)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- Minimum 2 years of PCU, Med-Surg Telemetry, or Acute Care experience
- Epic EMR proficiency required
- Travel nursing experience preferred
- Valid US Social Security Number and US home address required
- Driver's License required for consideration
- Two professional references required for consideration
Additional Information
- Both Med-Surg and Step Down RNs are eligible to apply, as credentialing requirements are the same for both skill sets
- Local candidates are accepted; however, candidates residing within the facility's radius may be subject to a reduced pay rate
- Full SSN and full date of birth are required for consideration
