Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry (CC4) position at a 3-time Magnet-designated hospital in Aurora, CO, requiring at least 1 year of acute care telemetry experience and a CO or compact RN license.

Details

• Work setting is an inpatient telemetry unit (CC4) within a 345-bed, 3-time Magnet-designated hospital
• Large cardiac population served across two telemetry floors and a PCU floor
• Day shift, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour shifts)
• Patient ratio is 1:5 on days (varies by unit)
• EMR system is Meditech/CPN
• Floating is required to all inpatient Med/Tele and Rehab units
• RN and CNA staffing model on both day and night shifts across most units
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA or ARC accepted; no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of start)
• Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care telemetry hospital experience required
• Minimum 2 years of total clinical experience required
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Strong telemetry experience is preferred
• Chemo certification (ONC) is a plus and may allow scheduling on the Oncology unit
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
