Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Step-Down (HVTI) position at a major academic medical center in Cleveland, OH, requiring at least 18 months of Step-Down experience and active OH or compact RN license.
Details
- HVTI Step-Down unit at a large academic hospital campus
- Potential to float to other units caring for the same patient population
- Rotating day/night shifts: Days 7:00am–7:30pm, Nights 7:00pm–7:30am
- Schedule is 3x12-hour shifts per week
- Shift assignments may vary based on operational needs of the unit
- Every other holiday shift required
Requirements
- Active OH RN license or compact state RN license currently in hand
- Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in Step-Down (travel experience acceptable)
- 18 months of recent Step-Down experience required
- PCU/Progressive Care experience preferred but not required
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
Additional Information
- ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation, and acceptable scores on both are required
- Travelers are limited to 18 consecutive months across any facility location within this health system, with a mandatory 6-month gap before beginning another assignment at any system location
