Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care (IMC) position requiring Epic proficiency and the ability to float between IMC, Ortho, and Rehab units on a night shift schedule.

Details

• Hospital-based Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) setting
• Patient population includes hip fractures, osteomyelitis, cellulitis, acute kidney injury, pneumonia, bowel obstructions, and general medical/surgical cases
• May be assigned to care for COVID-positive patients
• Uses Epic EMR; experience is required
• Schedule is 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• Floating required between IMC, Ortho, and Rehab units
• Holiday coverage required on an as-needed basis
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active PA RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

• Manager interview is required as part of the selection process
• Candidates will undergo a clinical screening to assess fit prior to manager review
• This is a tobacco-free and fragrance-free facility
• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off (RTO) for the contract
• All time off requests must be submitted prior to or at the start of the contract — no RTO requests will be considered after submission
• Local candidates are eligible and accepted for this position
