Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care (IMC) position requiring Epic experience, NIHSS certification, and every-other-weekend availability.

Details

Inpatient Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) in a hospital setting
Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (6:15 AM – 6:45 PM)
Every other weekend (EOW) required
Holiday coverage required as needed
Floating required as needed, including possible float to rehab unit
Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

Active PA RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
Current BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

First-time travelers are welcome to apply
May be assigned to care for COVID-positive patients
This is a tobacco-free and fragrance-free facility
RTO is capped at 7 days for the duration of the assignment; no RTO exceptions beyond this limit
Candidates undergo a clinical screening process prior to manager review and interview
Candidates who live within the area may be eligible but at a reduced pay rate compared to traveling candidates
Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration
A full 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required for consideration
