Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position on an adult oncology unit, requiring a current SC or compact RN license and stepdown/PCU float experience.

Details

• 22-bed adult Med/Surg Oncology unit (5T)
• Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Schedule includes weekdays, every other weekend, floating, and holidays as needed
• Float to the PCU/Stepdown unit as needed
• 13-week contract with possibility of extension
• EMR: Meditech

Requirements

• Active SC RN license (Standard or Compact) required — must already be in hand
• Current BLS (BCLS) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience required
• Stepdown/PCU experience required due to float responsibilities
• Proficient IV start skills required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Clean license history with no background hits
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

• Travel nursing experience is preferred but not required — first-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Scrubs are not provided; royal blue or white scrubs required
