Description

American Traveler is seeking a licensed RN for a Medical/Surgical Oncology position requiring at least 2 years of Med/Surg experience plus stepdown/PCU experience, with day shift hours and weekend rotation.

Details

• Work is performed in a 22-bed adult Medical/Surgical Oncology unit (5T)
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Weekday shifts with every other weekend required
• Nurses are expected to float to the PCU unit as needed
• Holiday coverage required as needed
• EMR system is Meditech
• 13-week contract with possibility of extension

Requirements

• Active SC RN license or compact RN license valid in South Carolina, must already be in hand
• Current BLS (BCLS) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience required
• Stepdown/PCU experience required due to float responsibilities
• Proficiency with IV starts required
• No license or background hits will be accepted
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility
• Two professional references required for consideration
• PDF copies of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to adult medical/surgical oncology patients
• Travel experience is preferred but first-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Scrubs are not provided; royal blue or white scrubs are required
