Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position on an adult oncology unit, requiring stepdown/PCU experience and a current SC license.

Details

• 22-bed adult Med/Surg Oncology unit (5T)
• Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
• Scheduled on weekdays with every other weekend required
• Floating to the PCU unit required as needed
• Holiday coverage required as needed
• 13-week contract with possibility of extension
• EMR: Meditech

Requirements

• Active SC RN license (Standard or Compact) currently in hand — SC licensure must already be obtained prior to consideration
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience required
• Stepdown/PCU experience required due to float responsibilities
• IV insertion skills required
• Clean license and background required — no hits accepted
• PDF copies of Driver's License and Social Security card required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to adult medical/surgical and oncology patients
• Scrubs not provided — royal blue or white scrubs required
• Travel nursing experience preferred

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
