Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position at a major academic hospital in Cleveland, OH, requiring at least 18 months of recent MS/Tele experience and an active Ohio or Compact RN license.

Details

• Large academic hospital setting in Cleveland, OH
• Med/Surg Telemetry unit with potential float to other MS/Tele units and the ED for the same patient population
• Rotating day/night shifts on a 3x12-hour schedule (7:00 AM–7:30 PM or 7:00 PM–7:30 AM)
• Shift rotation may be adjusted as needed to meet hospital operational needs
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 18 months of combined permanent (non-travel) experience in Med/Surg Telemetry
• Minimum 18 months of recent MS/Tele experience — travel experience is accepted toward this requirement
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation; acceptable scores on both are required to proceed
• Must be available to work at least every other holiday
• Travelers may not exceed 18 consecutive months at any facility location within this health system, and must wait a minimum of 6 months before beginning a new assignment at any location within the system
