Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a GI/Endoscopy position in New York, requiring a minimum of 2 years of endoscopy experience and on-call availability.

Details

  • Endoscopy (GI) unit setting
  • Flex day schedule alternating between 4x10-hour and 5x8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM
  • 6 call shifts required per month
  • 1–2 weekend shifts required per month

Requirements

  • Active NY RN license required
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification required prior to start
  • Minimum 2 years of endoscopy (GI) nursing experience required
  • 2 supervisor references required for consideration — one from within the past year, one from within the past 2 years, each from someone in a supervisory role who can speak to clinical skills and work ethic
  • Skills checklist for GI/Endoscopy completed within the past year required for consideration

Additional Information

  • An additional 8 hours of CEUs must be completed as part of facility orientation
