Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and active ARRT-CT certification for a 13-week travel assignment in Richmond, VA.
Details
- CT Scan department located on the first floor of the main hospital building
- Unit operates 2 scanners (GE and Philips)
- Department performs approximately 80–100 scans per day
- Procedures include abdominal/pelvic studies, biopsies, head, spine, brain, chest, and CTAs
- EMR systems used are Meditech and GE Centricity PACS
- Schedule is 4x10-hour evening shifts, Monday through Thursday, 11:00 AM – 9:30 PM
- Weekend on-call coverage required (24-hour call)
- No floating required
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of CT experience, with active experience within the last 6 months
- ARRT-CT certification required
- Active Virginia state license required if applicable
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- One professional reference required (two required for candidates from Florida or Missouri)
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates will not be considered
Additional Information
- Experience with GE or Philips CT scanners is preferred
- Navy scrubs required
- Ideal candidates are strong multitaskers who adapt easily to change and work well in a team environment
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
