Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a weekend evening shift in an acute care hospital CT Scan department in Richmond, VA.
Details
- CT Scan department located in the main hospital building of a 466-bed acute care facility
- 3 CT scanners on-site
- Procedures include all CT exams, including Neuro and Perfusion studies
- GE CT equipment
- Meditech EMR system
- 12-hour evening shifts from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, Friday through Sunday
- Floating may be required per facility policy
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience, with active experience within the last 6 months
- ARRT (CT) certification required
- Current BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start)
- Active VA state license required if applicable
- US SSN and DOB required for consideration
- One professional reference required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Perform a full range of CT imaging procedures including neurological and perfusion studies
- Steel gray scrubs required
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted

Cons
Resources for your unit some are helpful others are not. If you have to use a timesheet for your pay the CNC doesn’t like that hopefully agency can upgrade that.
