Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring night shift availability, AHA-certified BLS/ACLS/PALS, and an active NY RN license.
Details
- Work setting is a hospital-based Emergency Department
- Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:30 (12.5-hour shifts)
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend (EOW) required per department rotation
- Every other holiday (EOH) required per department rotation
- No on-call responsibilities
- 13-week contract
- EMR: Epic
Requirements
- Active NY RN license required
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (all AHA-issued); ENPC is acceptable in lieu of PALS
- TNCC preferred
- All certifications must include front and back of card with expiration date
Additional Information
- Candidate must reside 75+ miles from the facility to be eligible; local contracts are not accepted
- References, licensure verification (dated within 30 days of start), and COVID vaccination card required for consideration
- First-time travelers are not mentioned as eligible — prior ED experience is expected given the 1-year minimum requirement
