Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring night shift availability, AHA-certified BLS/ACLS/PALS, and an active NY RN license.

Details

  • Work setting is a hospital-based Emergency Department
  • Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:30 (12.5-hour shifts)
  • 36 hours per week
  • Every other weekend (EOW) required per department rotation
  • Every other holiday (EOH) required per department rotation
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • 13-week contract
  • EMR: Epic

Requirements

  • Active NY RN license required
  • Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
  • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (all AHA-issued); ENPC is acceptable in lieu of PALS
  • TNCC preferred
  • All certifications must include front and back of card with expiration date

Additional Information

  • Candidate must reside 75+ miles from the facility to be eligible; local contracts are not accepted
  • References, licensure verification (dated within 30 days of start), and COVID vaccination card required for consideration
  • First-time travelers are not mentioned as eligible — prior ED experience is expected given the 1-year minimum requirement
