Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring a BSN, at least 2 years of telemetry experience, and every other weekend availability.
Details
- Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
- Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (6:45 AM – 7:45 PM)
- Every other weekend required
- Floating to other units is possible when census is low or staffing needs arise, but is not routine
- No block scheduling
- No on-call responsibilities
- Charting system: Epic
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active PA or compact RN license required
- BSN required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience required
- Telemetry monitoring experience required
- 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Copies of current certifications required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Navy blue scrubs required
- Holiday coverage required: 1 summer holiday and 1 winter holiday
- RTO requests must be submitted at time of consideration
- Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are accepted but at a different pay rate
