Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Home Health position in the Franklin/Macon County, NC area, requiring prior home health and hospice experience and a valid NC or compact RN license.
Details
- Home health setting serving patients in the Franklin/Macon County, NC area
- Caseload of approximately 5–6 patients per day
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM schedule
- On-call rotation required every 6–7 weeks for one week, covering nights (5:00 PM – 8:00 AM) and that weekend; no overnight patient visits made from this office
- Documents using HCHB (HomeCare HomeBase) EMR
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active NC or compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
- Minimum 2 years of recent home health and hospice nursing experience required
- Reliable personal vehicle required for patient home visits
- US SSN and DOB required for consideration
- One professional reference required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Nurses are expected to wear navy blue or navy/white scrubs
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered
- Provide skilled nursing care to home health patients across the Franklin/Macon County service area
