Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care/Stepdown Unit position in Maysville, KY, requiring cardiac experience and night shift availability.

Details

• Progressive Care/Stepdown Unit (Intermediate Care Unit) within a 100-bed, Joint Commission accredited acute care hospital
• General and cardiac specialty unit with 12 beds and a 4:1 patient ratio
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Cardiac experience required; experience removing post-cath stents is a plus
• EMR: Meditech/Medhost
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required to telemetry and critical care at times

Requirements

• Active KY RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Cardiac nursing experience required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Royal blue scrubs required
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Cannot be employed full-time elsewhere while on assignment
• 8-week contract
