Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced NICU RN with at least 2 years of Level III/IV experience, including a minimum of 1 year in a Level IV NICU, for a 13-week travel contract in Wisconsin.
Details
- Hospital-based Neonatal ICU (NICU) setting
- Level IV NICU patient population including post-op patients and medically complex neonates
- Hands-on experience required with g-tubes, trach/vent management, and various modes of invasive and noninvasive ventilation
- Day/Evening shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00am–7:30pm
- Schedule runs Monday through Friday with 2–3 required weekends per 6-week scheduling period
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active WI RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS and NRP certifications required — AHA-issued only
- Minimum of 2 years of total NICU experience at Level III and/or Level IV
- At least 1 full year of Level IV NICU experience required
- Experience with post-op neonatal patients, g-tubes, trach/vent management, and invasive/noninvasive ventilation modes
Additional Information
- Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill neonates in a high-acuity Level IV NICU environment
