Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Float Pool position at a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center, requiring a minimum of 2 years of specialty experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Float pool position covering all Med/Surg areas within a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center
• High-volume environment with diverse and complex trauma cases
• Epic EMR experience required
• Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
• 4 weekend shifts per month required
• Block scheduling is generally not approved
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active RN license — GA license or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience required
• Experience in high-acuity, high-volume hospital environments with complex and severe cases required
• Proven ability to manage critical, fast-paced trauma situations
• Proficiency in Epic EMR required

Additional Information

• Will float to all Med/Surg units across the facility as needed
• No RTO (requested time off) will be approved for this assignment
• Local candidates are accepted for this position
• Candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals are not a fit for this role
