Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel CT Technologist for a night shift position at a freestanding emergency center imaging department in Texarkana, TX.

Details

• Freestanding emergency center imaging/CT Scan department
• 3x12-hour night shifts, 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
• 13-week contract
• May be required to work other shifts or at other campuses as needed
• PACS system used; Superuser-level familiarity with PACS downtime procedures expected

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program or equivalent
• 1 year of CT experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
• One of the following primary modality certifications required: ARRT (Radiography), ARRT or NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology); ARRT or NMTCB (CT) preferred
• TX MRT license required (license required if applicable)
• BLS required (AHA only)
• Basic computer proficiency required

Additional Information

• Perform routine and advanced CT imaging procedures and support other imaging technologists as needed
• Facilitate patient flow and assist with patient throughput across the department
• Troubleshoot basic equipment maintenance issues and report malfunctions to appropriate personnel
• Participate in QA, image processing, and image archiving system oversight
• Candidate must live more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
• 2 professional references required for consideration
